biography

VERDELUNA WORLD LATIN MUSIC :
This classic flute and guitar player began studying music at the tender age of five, when she was already showing a fascination with music. Her parents were responsible for her interest in music. In fact, there was always music playing in her 
household. At the age of 10, Tania Valeria Murphy decides to translate her passion for music into a vocation. In 2004 she migrates to he U.S., where, thanks to her job as a choral director in Orange County, California, she discovers the West Coast's popular music. In 2006 she moves to culturally diverse 
New York City and begins writing song lyrics. Her musical influences include: The Bandshees, Aerolineas Federales, Sui Generis, The Beatles and Velvet Underground. By mid-2009, Tania begins working on her musical project Verdeluna, where she incorporates sweet guitar riffs, Latin American folk and 
modern urban sounds. At the moment, she is working on her second CD VERDE ESPIRAL
